1. What does "P" (e.g., P2, P4) mean?
"P" stands for Pixel Pitch—the distance in millimeters between the centers of two adjacent pixels. A smaller number (like P2) means pixels are closer together, resulting in a sharper image for closer viewing. A larger number (like P8) is for longer viewing distances.

2. How to choose the right Pixel Pitch?
Your main guide is the average viewing distance.

Rule of Thumb: Optimal Viewing Distance (meters) ≈ Pixel Pitch (mm) × 2 to 3.

Indoor, Close Viewing (< 3m): Use P1.2 - P2.5 (e.g., boardrooms, retail).

Indoor, Medium Viewing (3-10m): Use P2 - P4 (e.g., lobbies, stages).

Outdoor, Long-Distance (> 10m): Use P5 - P10+ (e.g., billboards, stadiums).

3. SMD vs. GOB vs. COB: What's the difference?
These are different LED packaging technologies:

SMD (Surface-Mounted Device): The standard. Individual LED chips are packaged into tiny lamps and mounted on the board.

COB (Chip-on-Board): LED chips are mounted directly onto the board and coated.

Pros: Highly robust, best protection, great heat dissipation.

GOB (Glue-on-Board): An enhanced SMD process where a protective epoxy layer is added over the LEDs.

Pros: More durable than standard SMD, good protection at a lower cost than COB.
